  • The first in a series of many Bobby Joe Ebola live bootleg recordings now available for download! This one is from a very special show that took place on Saturday night, June 24th, 2000 during Libertatia/Geekfest at Lake Ladoga in the East Park Reservoir.

It was to be the last Bobby Joe Ebola full band performance before the group's break-up later that year.

The performance was recorded by Mauricio Acevedo and features Yvan Kawecki on bass, Brett Bibeau on drums, John March Mink on vocals and of course, Dan Abbott on guitar and vocals and Corbett Redford on vocals.

Here you will find all members drunk and sun-burnt as they were all participating in the organization of the four day festival that included some 87 bands.

Also, a very special recording of the MacNuggits classic, "You Don't Have To Die Alone" is featured here, this performance being the first time any of the members had ever heard Dan play it for them. He burst out with it impromptu as drummer Brett replaced a broken snare drum. Pretty darned rad.

Immediate download of 12-track album in your choice of 320k mp3, FLAC, or just about any other format you could possibly desire.

about

Bobby Joe Ebola and the Children MacNuggits Oakland

Bobby Joe Ebola and The Children MacNuggits was mightily formed in 1995 in a fast-food parking lot by guitarist Dan Abbott and singer Corbett Redford.

The MacNuggits have become legend in the musical underground of the Bay Area and beyond, with their infamously unpredictable mix of searing social satire, soaring harmonies, outlandish and shocking truths, and poop jokes.
